Social Events Organizer NEEDED!

We’d like to hang-out outside of regular meetings. Maybe a coffee meet-up, maybe a hike, maybe a pick-up soccer game. We need someone to take the lead on organizing a few events in the year. If interested please contact Jessica Eley or Candi Fox.

Tonight at 7:30 is the LAST city meeting about the Pecan Grove on Tillery.

To Attend

If you can attend, here are the two virtual avenues the city has provided.

Call 512-580-8850 Project code 7886

Or online at…

Can’t attend?

If you cannot attend the virtual meeting, email your comments and thoughts to housingdevelopment@austintexas.gov

Remember

– Despite being mature nut bearing trees, most of the trees in the pecan grove are too small to be protected (<19 inches).
– The city will be breaking ground in a year.

– The entire plot is 5 acres with empty fields next to the grove, plenty of room to save the trees AND have affordable housing.

– If you don’t want to see the Pecan Grove cut down, now is the time to speak up!!!
