About Us

The Govalle Neighborhood Association is an open and inclusive group.  Our mission is to give a voice to community members and to foster relations in our community. We are not a homeowners association. We don’t care what color you want to paint your house.  We meet regularly and invite all neighbors to participate in meetings to discuss neighborhood issues and projects, such as The Pecan Grove Park, affordable housing, health and safety concerns, traffic, and volunteer opportunities.

Co-Chairs

Candi Fox is a teacher at Govalle Elementary School, guitarist, and baker. She has been a resident of Govalle since 2003. Ms. Fox serves as the representative for the Govalle Neighborhood Association on our area Contact Team as well as being a member of the board of the Guadalupe Neighborhood Development Council. When she’s not rocking out on public access, she’s tending to her beloved animals and sacrificing her chimney to the local Chimney Swift population.
